Well today it happened! I had my very first emotional break down as a mother.
It all started with a great nights sleep. Carter decided to wake up earlier than usual, but whatever, I slept thorough the night and I was ready to wake up. WRONG! He started the day with a fit that landed him in time out. The rest of the day has been spent with me saying "Carter NO", him not listening, then throwing a fit when I make him stop. I've never wanted to be the type of mom that yelled but I have found myself raising my voice all day, and I just can't seem to get through to him. Well we were in the kitchen looking for a snack, and he kept shaking his head at everything I pulled out of the pantry, so finally I gave up and closed the door. That was it, he had the fit to end ALL fits! He screamed and kicked and was a nightmare. Well he went to his time out spot, and I sat down a cried, and tried to remind myself of how much I love him. I've grown so used to the happy go lucky little baby that I had almost a year and a half ago that I don't exactly know what to do with the little boy I have now.
To add to my worries, I'm pregnant (as you are all well aware). Today is one of the first days that I haven't wanted to be any longer. My hands are full with the one I have. Although I want this baby so badly, I can't help but think I'm just not qualified to be the mother of more than one. What am I going to do when I have two little boys crying and throwing fits, when I can't even handle one? What am I going to do when I'm so exhausted I can't even think straight and one child won't take a nap?
Patience is something that I have learned through the years NOT to pray for, but I can't help but have the prayer in my heart that Heavenly Father will help me have more.
I am hoping every day that I will be ready when Carter's baby brother gets here. Not with clothes or a bed, or diapers, or anything like that, but emotionally. I hope that I am prepared to be the mother that I have always wanted to be.
If not, as the story "Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good, Very Bad Day" goes: I'll move to Australia!

It's a BOY!
Well I am 20 weeks along, so half way done! We found out yesterday that we are having another boy! I am super excited! I wanted another boy, although I would have gladly taken a girl! :) The Dr. hasn't exactly given me a due date. The baby's measurements are kind of all over, and about a week different than my girly cycle . So I'm due anywhere from the first of January, to the ninth. So I guess we'll see! 
I have a few names picked out, but to tell you the truth none of them are my FAVORITE. The oh my gosh I just LOVE that name. So Do you guys have any suggestions? Here are my thoughts:
Gavin Paul
Dillon Paul
Parker Taylor
Chase Taylor
Max
Right now Gavin and Dillon are my favorites, but if you guys can think of better ones, let me know! Naming a baby is the HARDEST thing EVER! (Having grown up with a name like Cherry, I take naming very seriously knowing how it can affect a kid).
Seattle Fun!
So this summer Cody and I decided to splurge on another vacation because next year we are going to be seriously hurting for time together, and money.....So we went to Washington to visit his brother Curt and his wife Lacey. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!! (Due to my inability to blog still, these pictures are in opposite chronological order....so start from the bottom and go up while looking at them, sorry, I'm sure I'll figure this out someday..)
When we first got there we couldn't check into our hotel for probably like 5 hours, so we had to just kind of bum around. We went to the water front, and Pike's Place market. It was REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hot, and since we were both expecting rain, we dressed in long pants, and I was wearing a really warm t-shirt. STINK! oh well, we had fun looking at all of the shops, and being near the water. Carter LOVED IT! He liked all that there was to look at, and all of the birds.
Then we went to the aquarium. Carter really enjoyed himself, which was our goal for most of the day since it was so warm and he didn't have anywhere to take a nap. Cody and I weren't impressed with it though. We had just been to the Denver aquarium and that one has more to look at and is set up much better. But I got THE BEST salad wrap I have ever eaten in my life, so that made everything worth while for me! YUM! I want another one....
Well we finally got to check in to our hotel. We got showered and dressed more appropriately, and Carter got a nap. We were all bushed so we hung out there until it was dinner time then made our way to whatever mall was right by our hotel and had PF Changs...yumm!
The next day Curt and Lacey came down for a Mariners game (once again CODY forgot the camera! so no baseball pic.s) Carter again had the time of his life. He is a big fan of Uncle's and Aunts, so the more time he spends with them, the happier he is (me too sometimes!). We went to PF Changs again for dinner because Curt and Lacey had never been there, and well, we love it! ha ha!
Now that I'm trying to tell you all about our vacation all of the days are starting to run together....hmmm.....
I think the next day we rode the Ducks. They are a boat/ car that takes you on a land and sea tour of Seattle. It was super fun, except it was a record breaking hot day in Seattle the day we decided to go, and since it is an open vehicle there was no AC. This wasn't Carters favorite, he couldn't get up and move around, and it was HOT HOT HOT! So he was pretty grumpy for the couple of hours we were on the duck. Oh well, it was cool to get to see all of Seattle. Then we went to the Space Needle, which I had already seen but Cody hadn't, and when visiting Seattle, it's a MUST do no matter what, just because it's famous.
Curt and Lacey left the next day so Curt could go to work. So Cody and I decided to take a water taxi over to West Seattle and check out the beach. MY FAVORITE DAY!!!!! It was nice a cool, and I found a TON of sea shells! The water was freezing but Carter and I stuck our feet in any way! He liked to run around and be free to throw rocks and what not, so he was a pretty happy camper. We were going to find somewhere to get sea food (YUM!) but it's even MORE expensive in Seattle than it is near home, so we decided to skip the sea food, and we went to Red Robin instead! ha ha!
Well our last day in Seattle Curt and Lacey came to pick us up and we went to the Zoo. Which was even lamer than the aquarium. Then we went up to Bellingham to spend the next few days with Curt and Lacey. We went to the beach, played with their dogs, went north and Looked across the water at Canada, and mostly just relaxed.
It was an awesome vacation! We loved Washington!
